Sinkholes

The first sinkhole I knew about was from  a picture on the internet of a bottomless pit in Guatemala. The hole looks like it never ends. I thought with horror how could that happen? I decided it was just a fluke.

Then a poor man was swallowed up as he was sleeping in Florida. His bed just fell into a giant hole and he was gone. This is happening more and more, but usually it seems to only be happening in Florida. I've read it's from water depletion, or naturally occurring, so I thought that is just Florida, but it's not just Florida, it's everywhere.

Today it happened in Kentucky. A big hole in a corvette museum opened up, and all the cars spilled right into it.

Is this a message from Earth telling us to get out? The preceding sentence was just a joke, and besides I'm not going cause there isn't anywhere to go. Though I could sign up for the one way trip to mars, since they are taking applications for the trip.
It's kind of scary to think of all the things that could happen to us on a daily basis. I guess we should just thank God we have made it this far, and just be happy we are alive.
SIL (scary index level) = 5
