Impact Event

Though it's not a high priority worry on my list --it's still a fearful thought to have. Somewhere out in space is a big piece of rock with Earth's name on it.

We've seen it in dozens of movies, and for some reason it mostly happens in New York (poor New York--it's has Godzilla knocking down buildings, floods washing away most of it, freezing cold, asteroid hits, earthquakes, alien attacks, apes controlling the planet, etc, and some real life abhorrent events that we wish were just a movie), and they say an impact could really happen, since it happened before.
I usually just try to believe that it could never happen, and who said denial isn't a good coping mechanism!

If an asteroid hits water!

Asteroid's near-miss with Earth
Their coming!

Good by!

I'm going back to pretending this will never happen. I already forgot what I was talking about.
SIL (scary index level) = 5

If the Earth gets hit by an asteroid, it's game over. It's control-alt-delete for civilization.

PS- Bill Nye you are such a pessimist!
